Our Medical Assisting program allows you to retain information through conceptual and active-learning styles. We provide insightful lectures to teach concepts, simulation-lab exercises to employ these concepts, and supervised externships to use them in the real world. For instance, our lab environment is fully equipped to simulate an office and clinic setting. This equipment includes a micro-hematocrit centrifuge, blood and urine centrifuge, pulse oximeter, electrocardiogram machine, glucose meters, and sphygmomanometers (B/P) cuffs. You will also have access to a patient height and weight scale, an autoclave machine, and a hemoglobin meter.
